Who - Participants & Leaders

Who Should Attend

  • Teams comprised of four to seven education leaders from diverse schools and school districts, seeking better outcomes from their work in diversity, equity, and integration  
  • To be considered for the program, teams should be working towards being able to demonstrate evidence of the following: 
    • School mission, vision, and values include racial equity and diversity as core components, and students can communicate the importance of inclusivity 
    • Policies, practices, and resources are aligned with the school’s vision for racial equity and diversity work 
    • An equity culture for both individuals and teams is in process, and data are used systemically to manage and measure improvement  
    • Racial diversity and equity work engagement involves a wide array of stakeholders, including students, families, community members, teachers and administrators 
    • A clear commitment to sustained learning and ongoing improvement around equity is in place, including identification of next steps, establishment of focused teams, and recognition of the time needed to complete the journey
