Ellis recently relocated from the San Francisco Bay Area, where he worked for the past three years at Next Generation Scholars, a college access program supporting low-income students and their families. At NGS, Ellis came to believe that effective college access work requires working with the whole child and the whole family. He hopes to bring this same holistic focus to his work with RIDES. Previously, Ellis taught at an independent high school in San Francisco and served as the Program Coordinator for SummerBridge SF. He is a graduate of Stanford University and is currently pursuing his PhD at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
