The Denver Public Schools implemented a strategic school design plan to reimagine the school day. To facilitate innovations in each school under its auspice, DPS created a Strategic School Design office that provides the support, tools and guidance to campus leaders to make radical changes that stimulate student achievement. Consequently, DPS is making the highest proficiency gains of any urban district in the country.
